Trip 7, Part 2, St. Joseph, MO

This short post covers the one week we had in St. Joseph between our trips to Las Vegas, and Branson, MO.

This post only covers a week, but it was a pretty busy week. On Saturday night, we went to the Culver’s house and had adult style hot chocolate while carving pumpkins. Here are the pumpkins before we made our masterpieces.

And here are our works of art. Scott’s is on the left and my jack-o-lantern is on the right.

As usual, a great time was had by all. On Sunday, we went to a play at the Missouri Theatre with the Culver’s and Broyles. We saw a play called, “Grumpy Old Men,” which was like the Odd Couple. It was very well done, and we enjoyed ourselves. I thought I had some pictures, but could not find them. Or I didn’t take any. Either way, there are no pictures. On Halloween night, the Culver’s came to our house, and we sort of dressed up and handed out candy to the handful of kids that came by.

As you can see, I have lost some weight. One of our crazy neighbors came by and instead of taking candy, left us some “boo” ze.

Yes, a great time was had by all. The next day the local Spirit Store had its after Halloween 50% off sale. I have always wanted a blow-up T-rex costume and was hoping to find one half off. I was so happy when I did. Check me out.

This costume will be featured prominently in one of the next posts, so you have that to look forward to.

The next post will cover our trip to Branson with the Broyles and Culvers.
